My fav actor is Jordan Clarke, actress is Gina Tognoni the best couple is Coop and Ashlee and I would like for Ed bauer to come back, also Roger Thorpe, and several others too. A lot of them. Little Bill and Mindy and OMG I almost forgot Phillip.
When Michael Zaslow was sick, He was replaced by an actor whom in my opinion did a very good job. I dont recall the mans name. I'm sure none of the original actors would come back , but that is what I wish would happen.
I sure miss him! I know he can't come back, but he is the main reason I watched GL. He made things so interesting. I loved to hate him. But I loved the guy too!
God, I loved him...they really did him wrong on GL, I wish they had written it in, but I guess they didn't want viewers to think of Roger Thorpe as weak. He reminds me that I miss Rita too...I hadn't thought of her in a long time. Of course I would love to see Mike, Ed, Michelle, Meta and Hope Bauer back on screen...I miss Maureen (but they stupidly killed her character off), plus Jackie & Ross Marler (who they also killed off - or are presumed dead in a plane crash...although not together). And, what long time viewer could ever forget the Reardon family: Nola, Tony, Annabelle, and Bridget (I keep hoping that now they have brought Matt back, maybe they will bring some of the others back, but I doubt it). Oh, gosh...don't forget Vanessa's half-brother & Nola's husband(?)...Quint (I adored him),
I also miss, but never coming back...Christopher Bernau the original Alan Spaulding (not that I don't like the current one I do), but it took many years for me to get used to anyone by Christopher; of course Larry Gates as H.B. Lewis and the one I probably miss the most Charita Bauer as Bert.
I have loved this show for 30+ years, but sometimes I wish they would use a little more of their history!
OOooppsss...I edited because I forgot Holly Norris-Bauer-Thorpe-Lindsey-Reade (or what ever order it goes in)!! Which brings up Fletcher Reade, miss him too!
Wow Melinda, You did an excellent job on the characters.. ITA with everything you wrote. GL treated Michael Zaslow very shabby when he got sick. I was ashamed of them.
It also took me a long time to accept Ron Raines as Alan, but he has made Alan his own person and he's good. I love all the Reardons too. I cried when Larry Gates died, I loved him soooo much, and I miss Vanessas dad Henry. Oh, Hell , I miss them all.
Oh Sharon, I loved Nola. She is a talented dancer and I loved all her fantasies too. I wish all of the 'gone' characters would come back, I really did like Tony and Annabelle too.
Oh, I used to love Tony! I found this old clip...which was a Christmas episode with flash backs...
Joyce...I feel bad that you can get these...this is a clip with Nick & Susan (and must be when Philip, Beth and Lizzie were not living in Springfield), plus Christmas at Matt and Vanessa's...with Hart Jessup, Bridget, and Nola...and a flash back to Nola's engagement party when she and Vanessa wore the same dress (Scarlet O'Hara dress) and ended up fighting...LOL...it was funny back then and even funnier now.
I think Nola's dreams/fantasies was one of the best storylines of all time!
Well, I was gonna try to watch bits and pieces but it wont show it, say's I have to go to you tube so I may try that. I would like to see it. Thanks Melinda
