Personally, I don't like forums that are so bogged down with rules and regulations that they become stifling. I don't like feeling hindered from being able to say what I have to say. No one does, I dont think.
However, we all know that there are a bunch of rabid idiots in cyber space whose idea of having a good time is to instigate and/or provoke others, basking in the anonymity of the Internet and using it to act a fool. And when it comes to soaps, we all know that fans of the genre tend to be the more...um, lets say...rabid!
Since this is a new forum, though, and since so far there hasn't been any troublesome poster converging starting a bunch of messas of now there I have not created many hardcore guideless. Other than
activeboard.com's general regulations, I really have no more to add as of now...
So go ahead and advertise your commercial links (in moderation, though, please)
If you think that a certain actor isn't cutting the mustard at his or her job, feel free to say so. (Though please scale back being too critical of things that aren't related to their performances...I.E. weight, crooked teeth, pimples on the forehead, etc., etc.)
Passionately defend your favorite character/couple, and go ahead and debate why some need a one way trip to hell. Just shy away from taking it to a personal level with anyone who disagrees with you.
Well, I DO have one VERY important rule: HAVE FUN!
